I AM ALREADY BOOKED FOR THIS WORKSHOP. If you would like to know when I come back to Cedar for a 2nd workshop email me and I will put ya on the list. THANK YOU!!

YES…it will be the first time I have ever done a workshop. YES I am a little nervous…. but honestly I think it will be a total blast! I have always loved having beginners follow me on shoots and LOVE helping them in any shape or form, but there was never enough time to sit them down and actually TEACH them to use their cameras to do exactly what they want. There was never time to turn to them and say “This is why I am doing this….” or “Do you see what is wrong with this….”. I am FAR FAR FAR x 100 FAR from knowing everything about photography, (does anyone?) but I HAVE learned some super cool things these last two years that are worth sharing.

This workshop is for anyone. You do not have to be pursuing a photography business, or going to school for it. It is simply a workshop for those who want to learn and be better behind the camera.

We will be focusing on….

1- Manual Mode. You will NOT shoot in automatic anymore. You are the boss of your camera, not the other way around. Raw vs. Jpeg.
2- Lighting. Using natural light in your pictures, off-camera flash, and reflectors, sun flare, shadows, the list goes on and on….
3- Posing. How to pose your subjects, what to say, how to get them to relax, and to have FUN with it.
4- Post-Processing. Bring on the photoshop…this part will be on my upcoming private foto blog so I can answer questions and SHOW what I do. All workshop attendees get 1 free year subscribtion to this blog. (everyone else has to pay, sorry!) This will be a weekly blog post of tips, tricks, and maybe just fun stuff, and a place where I can answer questions instead of answering 100 emails of the same questions. Yay for the foto blog!

There will be some AMAZING beautiful models that will be participating in this event….so you can practice AND build a portfolio at the same time. We will be starting the workshop INDOORS for the first hour while we learn, discuss, and answer questions. The rest of the time will be hands-on shooting and practicing. Ted (my husband) is a genius with equipment so he will be there to help me individually assist everyone in learning the ropes.

The final result I am aiming for is for you to have sharpen, brighter, and just BETTER pictures in general and to build up your confidence level about 10 notches. Plus, we get to be friends.

To register and save your spot please email me by clicking here.
I am SO giddy to do this! Bring your smiles!
