Oh my pretty. Everything about her is pretty. I love Shannon…she is a rare find because she has the best personality AND she is drop dead beautiful. Plus, she freaked out over bugs just as much as I did during this shoot which made me feel better…because anyone who has been on shoots with me KNOWS I am an embarrassing mess if a bug lands on me.

Shannon started screaming when I made her walk out and prance around in this field because she found a little rat friend…ya, imagine the drama!

Pretty Girl. FYI this ENTIRE shoot was in the rain until the very end. Kaitie did amazing even though she was all prettied up hovering under trees and arches to keep from getting drenched. These (like all my hubby’s cousins) were all shot along side the wonderful Jocelin (my sister in law). Jocelin was actually 9 months expecting while shooting and I have a GREAT hilarious picture of her on Facebook if you want to go giggle.

They are so in love. I will post their wedding story when I blog their wedding that is coming up in a few weeks, it’s pretty cute. ps…there are still 3 seats in my workshop!!! Come on come on!!! Most of my waiting list wants my September workshop so I am debating on combining them.

A peak as promised. I don’t feel like I even worked at ALL, more like I had lots of fun. I love them, I know I say that alot, but I really do!

One thing that is sad about Mormon weddings, is that you dont get to capture the moment of the groom seeing his bride for the first time in her dress. I LOVE how these two are doing everything. I am a high believer in bringing the groom to bridal sessions, you get twice as many pics with your man that you will have forever, and you still get some beautiful ones of just the bride. BUT the only reason girls dont is that we miss that “first moment” of him seeing her in the dress…which is better captured when OUTSIDE the temple so I can stamp it as a memory that wont be forgotten. I got her in the bathroom, that had zero windows and ugly yellow light…but she was so beautiful and perfect…and giggly.

GO see this video….the one and only Chris Mclaine himself did this bad boy. He is SO SO SO good! If you have the chance to book him, TAKE IT! He is the best I have seen around these parts and he is tons of fun!

ok, we found an air vent, a REALLY strong one, and we got plenty of crazy looks as we literally spend over 30 min taking pics and playing with it, laughing histerically…AND i cant tell you how much i love how they turned out. Tanecia, you need to hang this collage somewhere in your house!

it was dripping nasty sewer water right where i wanted to sit her…so LUCKY for me mom went and pulled out a pink umbrella from the car….and GOOD thing she had 100 pairs of shoes in there too….and of course we found a match. too perfect huh?

i was stuck inside alot of the week because my girls got pink eye and so when saturday came i had MAJOR cabin fever…and was SOOOOO excited to get outside and shoot these bridals. the day went perfectly perfect. here are the teasers…

jamie was the TOUGHEST bride I have ever met. She was sick, and it was freezing…and the wind was blowing like crazy, but she totally pulled it off perfect. I love them. It was SO tricky not getting her dress all muddy, she had it specially made with unique pedals ALL over…which cannont be dry cleaned, pressure??? ummm yes…it took us FOREVER…but we did it!

christian seriously is an angel! he was constantly helping with her hair, dress, and of course the shoes…(which he picked out by the way)
